The small dinosaurs that were supposed to be used for Niko’s TWOrassic birthday came in handy for today’s activity. We cancelled his celebration last March because of Covid, so I saved all the dinosaur decors for next year. Hopefully, everything would be back to normal (fingerscrossed!).
As I was organizing his birthday box filled with dinosaur stuff, he saw the small dinosaurs and of course, he wanted to play with them. So, we did the color sorting activity.
DINOSAUR COLOR SORTING ACTIVITY

THINGS WE USED:
Small dinosaurs
Colored papers that match the color of the dinosaurs
Wooden tray
Cut the colored papers into small rectangles and arrange them on the tray.
Place the small dinosaurs in a small box and put it next to the rectangles.
Serve to play.

Niko was able to put the dinosaurs to their proper colors, but there were times that he would stop and think for a moment because some of the blues and greens have different hues.
This is one of the easiest activities I prepared, but a whole lot fun for Niko.
As a reward, I let him play with the small dinosaurs a little longer… And uhmmm, he’s actually feeding the small dinosaurs to the big ones. 🙈
