Little boys should never be sent to bed, they always wake up a day older

I did a Peter Pan theme for Nate’s third month because it’s one of my favorite Disney movies. And since I already have a pair of green onesie and pants in the house, I’m just going to add a hat and some Peter Pan details on the onesie.

Let’s start off with the hat. I tried making the hat using felt, but unfortunately, my felt was not big enough to fit Nate’s head 🙁 So, I made another one with foam paper. (The felt could had been so much better though). I used a pattern from Sew in Harmony. It was pretty easy to make. I attached the hat with a hot glue instead of sewing it.

The feather was cut out from a red adhesive felt. I cut two identical leaf shapes from the felt, placed a pipe cleaner in between, stick them together and cut small triangles on the side to make it look like a feather. Using a glue gun, I glued the feather on the hat. I also placed an elastic to secure the hat during the photoshoot.

For the costume details, I cut out two small zigzag patterns for the sleeves and a big one for the belt from felt. The sword and belt were also cut from brown and yellow felt. Everything was sewn unto the onesie.

Happy 3 months, Natey! 😀

I live in an enchanted forest at the end of a rainbow. I have a little window in my room where I can see unicorns playing in the grass field at day and magical fairies dancing under the silvery moon at night.

Let me know what you think 🐰
