Hook & Catch
We visited Hook & Catch yesterday after deciding to try out something unusual – eating fish.
I am not a fan of eating fish at all. 😆
The restaurant may seem smaller from the outside, but it’s actually spacious with a few long tables and benches inside. It has a quaint outdoor feel because of its wooden elemental design seen from the ceiling down to the floor.
Hook & Catch has a variety of fresh fish to choose from and a catch-of-the-day menu. Well, it’s not really the typical “you catch your own fish” thing as most hook and catch restaurants are famous for. The fish were already cleaned and ready to cook. Aside from that, they also serve other seafood dishes.
Starting from 20 SRD (2.5 US), you can already get a meal in ampule portions (depending on the type of fish) and if you want to add fries and other side dishes, you just need to add around 5 to 10 SRD.
I didn’t expect that for 25 SRD, I will get two pieces of fish, a salad and potato wedges (they don’t have fries available at that time). It was a lot and I really enjoyed it.
(Again, I’m not a fan of fish, yeah!) 😛
You can choose three dips from their wide selection of dips.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the salad, it doesn’t have any dressing at all, so I kept dipping it in my garlic dip and no, it didn’t worked. 😛 To sum it up, the meal was fantastic.
If you are a hearty eater and a fish lover, you should definitely check this place out.
