My husband bought me the Stardew Valley game when I was still 7 months pregnant. The game really did killed my time especially when I’m alone at home.
There are lots of things you can do in the game like mine, plant, harvest, feed animals, sell things, fish, kill monsters, meet villagers, woo and marry bachelors/ bachelorettes.
The most challenging part was choosing who to marry.
I was confused between the charming Elliott – a writer/poet who lives in a cabin beside the beach.
The loner Sebastian – a rebel gamer who lives under his parents’ basement and loves sci-fi novels.
I was really into Elliott because uhhmm well, he is a writer. I tried giving him gifts, but it’s quite difficult to give him the gifts that he LOVES because they are hard to get except for Pomegranates. So, I just gave him different fruits or seashells 2x a week and went to the beach to talk to him until reaching 10 hearts.
I was also trying to get hearts with Sebastian, but sometimes I ran out of frozen tears and the mines doesn’t produce much.
I reached 10 hearts with Elliott first (and since I’m quite excited to get married), I bought the mermaid’s pendant and offered it to him. In three days, we got married. LOL 😀
I even went to the abandoned house and bought myself a tiara to wear in the wedding. Unfortunately on the day of my wedding, I took time feeding the animals and making cheese and mayonnaise that I forgot to change my headdress before heading to the center. So, I got married wearing mouse ears. 😛
Now, that we’re married, I find him boring. LOL. He would tell me he doesn’t want to do anything for a day. Well, once in a while he would help in the farm by fixing fences and pouring water for the dog. I kinda regret marrying him. Hahaha. 😒 😓
I’m trying to reach 10 hearts with Sebastian then divorce Elliott. 🤐 Sigh.
Welcome to the farm life!0
