Disclaimer: Again, this is a late post 🙈
When Nate turned one month, I was still under the Aladdin hype. I don’t want to use superheroes anymore because Niko already did most of the famous ones. So, I thought, why not go with Disney characters. 😀
Most of the materials I used for the costumes are felt. The blazer was sewn by me and I already have the white pants. I stitched a square yellow felt on the pants as a “patch” just like Aladdin’s.
I did Niko’s ONE-year photoshoot a week before our flight to the Philippines.
The photoshoot was done in our apartment’s garage (yes, I emphasized the word apartment because people might get the wrong idea that we have our own garage.)
I know I’m way, way too late with this post because I was MIA for almost half a year. I did a Thor photoshoot for Niko’s 11th month birthday.
Luckily, Niko had a black/ grey long sleeves available at home which I used as a base. The top has a print so, I covered it with black foam paper. I drew and cut a pattern (somewhat similar to Thor’s breastplate) from glittered silver foam paper. I used the back part (plain gray color) of the silver foam paper for the circles. The cap was also made of foam paper.
Thanks to my dearest husband for giving me a backdrop and lightning kit, I am able to pursue my dream of creating a mini studio at home with my very own model, Niko. (And because he has no other choice 😛 )
My little Flash turned 8 months and well, it was pretty quick! 😛
Our DIY photoshoot was a success thanks to my husband who was a sort of distraction, so Niko can look at the camera. I just took a few shots because he wants to go everywhere. Yeah, that’s the disadvantage now of doing photoshoots with an 8-month-old because they want to get away and crawl whenever they feel like.
October is my second favorite month of the year because:
I feel that chill in the air.
The leaves are falling everywhere.
Fall is the time of year that brings
apples and pumpkins and Halloween.
Lyrics from Barney’s It’s Halloween Night Tonight 😅
I love everything about Halloween, from the full moon to witch
It’s the time of the month again and our little Niko turned six months. This time, I decided to go with a cake smash theme except that… he will not smash the cake. Not yet. I will wait for the actual cake smash when he turns 1.
He was actually sick with the flu when we did the photoshoot, but he still managed to give Mermommy some nice photos.
Happy 2nd month to my son, Nikolaj!
