Welcoming Rainy Days and Colds

The weather’s messed up today. Well, actually it has been raining on and off for months now.

Tomorrow is supposed to be my first day at work after my maternity leave, but I have to call in sick because Nikolaj is having the common cold and slight fever. It’s like he doesn’t want me to go back to work. It’s a Sunday and his house doctor is closed, so we brought him to the ER for check up: Runny nose, teary eyes, slightly irritated throat and cough.

I know that what he has is a non-ER case and depending on how busy the ER is, we could have waited for hours. Luckily, it wasn’t that busy. The triage room was empty when we arrived.

I actually didn’t know that there is a poli located inside the hospital on weekdays and we could have gone there with his PZS insurance card.

My advice is don’t go to the ER if you don’t have an emergency situation, you will really wait for more than 4 to 6 hours (on the chair because most of the beds are always occupied!)

  1. ER life is always hard especially if hindi naman life threatening ang sakit. I hope Nikolaj feels better soon. 🙂 Ang cute niyaaaaa kahit dun sa malayong picture na shinare mo! <3

  2. Kaya nga, dapat e prioritize talaga yung mas pangit na case. Thank you, Kat. He’s okay now, parang ayaw lang nya akong pabalikin sa work eh. Hehehehe. Marami pa pala akong pictures sa kanya. Nasa Nikolaj’s Daydream na category sa blog 🤣🤣🤣 ❤️❤️❤️
